You are likely aware of the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the subsequent increase in confirmed cases in the UK.
Here at MIS Active Management Systems Limited (MIS-AMS), we take the continuity of our services extremely seriously, and wish to assure all of our Customers of our operational resilience in the event of a pandemic outbreak.
In the event that our main MIS offices in Northwich must be closed, we will initiate the Business Continuity Plan detailed below. Your service will continue as usual, and you will be able to contact us in the usual ways.
Our team will work remotely / from home. Infrastructure at MIS-AMS enables remote / work-from-home arrangements across the team. We have VPN access to the vast majority of staff home broadband facilities, with full security in place. Our phone system is hosted in the cloud and therefore full connectivity is assured both at home, at the office, or when mobile. These systems are used routinely for staff working from our offices and from home, and as such are well tested.
Should any staff critical to the delivery of our service be affected by the virus and unable to work, we will call upon team members from companies across the MIS Group. We will adopt a matrix-style of working across the group, to provide cover for any serious shortfalls caused by any prolonged staff absence.
Where existing arrangements are in place for MIS-AMS team members to make Customer site visits, the Customer will be contacted to risk assess the visit, review the Customer’s coronavirus policy statement, and agree whether the visit should continue as planned or be suspended until further notice.
We are also working closely with our supply chain of third party service providers to ensure they are prepared for an outbreak.
As a preventative measure, we have issued advice to all staff around prevention of the spread of the virus. Additionally, we have issued policy advice on the correct course of action to take in the event of coming into contact with an infected person.
We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England, and will respond accordingly to developments. In line with Government guidance, we are presently running with business as usual, and will inform all Customers of any changes in our working arrangements.
