We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Howe as our Development Director, effective 1st January. Peter is stepping in for the current director, Andrew Cooper, who is transitioning out of the role but will remain with MIS in a supporting capacity over the next 4-12 months.
The change stems from Andrew recently winning the race to become the Labour Party candidate for the Mid Cheshire constituency in the next UK general election slated for 2024. While Andrew has served as a passionate Development Director at MIS Active Management Services, he has long held political aspirations to become an elected official.
“We congratulate Andrew and wish him the very best, though we’ll certainly miss his leadership and technical skills,” said Chris Mclaughlin at MIS. “Fortunately, his transition period will provide continuity. Pete brings tremendous skills to the role. This transition sets us up nicely for continuity and future growth.”
Andrew will be assisting Pete over the months ahead to ensure a smooth changing of hands while also spearheading a major VB6 coding project for MIS as the company looks to expand its web capabilities going forward.
Company leadership expressed confidence that Howe’s wealth of experience makes him well-prepared to take over the crucial Development Director role. With Andrew’s guidance during this extended timeframe, they believe the leadership change will be seamless and set both Howe and MIS up for future success. “Pete brings tremendous skills to MIS,” This transition sets us up nicely for continuity and future growth.”
